Join Steven and Ann Ames Curator of Drawings and Prints, Dan Nadel for a private tour of the Sondra Gilman Study Center, which includes over 19,000 prints, drawings, and photographs. Afterwards, the group will explore works on paper on view in Roy Lichtenstein: 1997 a focused exhibition highlighting rarely seen works from the last year of the pioneering Pop artist’s life. Echoing and expanding on key throughlines from Roy Lichtenstein: Like New, presented on the Museum’s 5th floor, Roy Lichtenstein: 1997 includes prints, photographs, and sculptural maquettes along with drawing and collage studies for a number of unrealized projects.
